In the times we’re living in, I assume that an art piece is a part of the environment, of a whole of concepts, in which we’re growing up.
From that whole questions arise: about life and death, about nature, about the human destiny, … and how I can experience them.
Working as a visual artist, is always a challenge to fix the moments, in which I find myself back of in which I lose myself.
It arises a quest to the perceived visual image. This image can be a memory from the past, what finally mutilates into an image from the present. It expresses how I experience the outside world.
It’s contemporary. Images raise paradoxal feelings of inconvenience, but also of freedom and sanctity.
I preferably use a palette of subdued colours of tints and tones. There is a constraint and in that way I isolate the subject.
I use several techniques.
I draw, I paint and besides, sometimes there is another material technique.
The search of combination techniques and its possibilities is a challenge.
